We monitor the performance of projects, activities, and interventions, evaluate project outcome and impact, design and build knowledge management systems, and catalyze learning for adaptive management. We do this by integrating our strengths in social science research with technological expertise and a systemic approach to finding solutions.

Impact Evaluation

We utilize rigorous social science research methods to assess the actual results of traditional and innovative change initiatives across the globe. Using globally benchmarked methods and techniques, our specialists conduct evaluations across sectors and geographies to help clients understand their impact and inform policy decisions. Using experimental and non-experimental research designs, our evaluation projects collect evidence on impact effectiveness to identify high-performing project components, recommend improvements, and inform future iterations of the intervention

Digital Strategies

Streamlining and automating data collection and analysis can help develop integrated monitoring systems which can, in turn, contribute to continuous improvement, learning, and actionable results. We have worked with a number of clients to build robust monitoring systems that help track progress on project and organizational goals. We use data science and digital tools to lower the costs of deriving actionable insights. Our capacity to analyze extensive data further enriches this work, encompassing the monitoring of pivotal developmental outcomes via satellite and sensory data, mobile device metadata, and insights from social media platforms.

Learning and Collaboration

We prioritize collaboration and learning in our projects, as a means of facilitating systemic change beyond the life of any single project. We document learning and share experiences and case studies relevant to specific audiences, aiming to provide timely, appropriate, and useful recommendations for stakeholders. This applies to our work in knowledge management, action research, participatory research, social and behavior change research, and stakeholder engagement. We also foster partnerships between actors, supporting governments (at the national and sub-national level), donors, financial institutions, service authorities, and businesses to build long-term relationships.

Custom Evaluation

We strive to co-create appropriate mixed- and multi-method evaluation design with our clients and their stakeholders to answer the evaluation questions within their decision-making windows. Seladore’s team of MEL experts regularly employ a comprehensive mix of designs (experimental and non-experimental), evaluation methods, special studies and systematic reviews. These competencies allow us to gauge the effectiveness and impact of the interventions and understand the factors that contribute to the achievement or non-achievement of the outcomes.
